Class of 2019
Nationwide, voted number 1 student account provider in the UK, wanted to connect with 16-19 year olds around results day. We responded with a social-first campaign Class of 2019, running across Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and CRM.
Knowing students would be sharing their experiences with friends and followers on dark social, and seeing there were no A Level-related sticker gifs available on any platform, we created a subtly-branded set that didn’t just celebrate the highs, but recognised the lows too.
Our Snap lens celebrated the Class of 2019, letting users appear in an old school yearbook with a choice of vintage hair dos. It generated 1.2 million impressions with an average play time of 28 seconds, three times the previous years’ lens and amongst the highest performing on the platform.
